My leg still aches a bit from hiking earlier this week, and I NEED that leg better by July. So instead of climbing a moutain, I found one I could drive around, had plenty of scenic areas, and desert roads I could play on with the Saturn. It's about 90min east of Tucson, and I spent a good 10hrs up there.

65miles of pavement, 30miles of off-roading, NO GUARDRAILS, NO SHOULDERS, 1000ft dropoff if you went more then 6" over the white line :D

The climate and scenery reminded me a lot of the Adirondacks from back home. They obviously get snow and ice according to the road signs and snowplow equipment I saw up there. Nice how I can go so far from home and still find the parts that I like out here.

Car took a bit of damage. Slammed into a rock doing 10MPH and it bent the front stabilizer bar bracket. So now all the vibrating the engine and transaxle do is being transmitted all over the frame of the car. It's a $10 part and should be fixed pretty quick/cheap. Totally worth it for all the stuff I did.
