This is the one that started it all. It took me 4 months to get a good venue to hold an event, and it was $10 at the door to get in (helped me cover the cost of the room, which I still ended up in the red). Attendance was about 40.
Many, MANY problems. We obviously went in over our heads for the first time. Network configuration, protocol inconsistencies, hardware... issues, etc. Despite the previously mentioned, 88% of the LAN was great. We learned a lot from that 12% and since then have had an astounding efficiency rating at the many LAN's to follow.
