Putnam Pond

Ahoy Ticonderoga!

With little contact between each other since Digital Overload, and the Memorial Day BBQ coming fast, a few potential campgrounds were presented to the group for a weekend of outdoor camping this summer.

The sites were:
Putnam Pond
Moffit Beach
Lewey Lake

Looking at the page title, you can see Putnam Pond won the vote. Moffit Beach is huge, and even though beautiful, 261 campsites means the place would be mobbed. Lewey Lake was smaller (209), and had numerous places to enjoy, but was beaten out by Putnam Pond due to the boat rental, location, extensive backcountry trails and comparative solitude (72 campsites).
